Not Medical, Mental Health, or Professional Advice
Memori is a personal journal, not a medical device, therapy tool, or crisis service. Mood tracking, reflections, and quotes are meant for personal reflection only — they are not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're struggling, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional, your doctor, or a local crisis line. If you're in the US and in crisis, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). If you're elsewhere, please contact your local emergency services or an equivalent crisis line.
Confronting Mortality Isn't for Everyone
Memori is built around memento mori — keeping your own mortality visible on purpose, through the life-in-weeks calendar, the “days left” countdown, and similar framing throughout the app. For most people that's grounding, not distressing — but it isn't for everyone. If you have a history of death anxiety, health anxiety, or a condition that mortality-focused content tends to worsen, this framing may not be a good fit, and using it is entirely your own call.
If using Memori brings on distress, panic, or an existential crisis rather than the intended sense of perspective, stop and step away from the countdown features, and reach out to a licensed mental health professional — see the crisis resources above if you need support right away.
AI-Generated Content May Be Inaccurate
Voice transcripts, periodic reflections, and daily quotes are generated by a third-party AI model based on what you've written. AI can mis-transcribe audio, summarize inaccurately, or — despite being instructed not to — occasionally misattribute a quote. Treat AI-generated content as a starting point, not a verified fact, and don't rely on it for anything important without checking it yourself.
“Coming Soon” Features Aren't Guaranteed
Previews of features we're considering are exactly that — previews, used to gauge interest before committing engineering time. They may change substantially, ship later than implied, or not ship at all. Nothing shown as “coming soon” is a promise.
No Warranty, Provided As-Is
Memori is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the service reliable and your data safe, but we can't promise the app will always be available, bug-free, or that data loss can never happen under any circumstances. Use the export tool in Settings if you want an independent copy of your own content.
Limitation of Liability
See Section 12 of our Terms of Use for the full limitation of liability that applies to your use of Memori.
